Authentic recipes

The menu at Moidul’s Hampton Wick Tandoori offers traditional dishes carefully prepared to authentic recipes including Biryani, Balti, Korma, Bhuna, Rogan, Dansak, Madras and Vindaloo curries. There is also a wide range of fresh vegetable, rice and bread side dishes to accompany your meal.

Clay Tandoori oven

We have an authentic clay Tandoori oven and we produce a range of delicious lamb, chicken, prawn and vegetarian dishes including Sheek Kebab, Hasina Lamb (tender pieces of lamb marinated in yogurt and grilled with spices) and the ever-popular Tandoori Chicken Masala.

Bangladeshi Naga chilli

We also offer house specialities and dishes that you may not have come across before including Jaal Maal (with Bangladeshi Naga chilli and fresh coriander), Chicken Rezzela (cooked with yoghurt and a blend of spices) and Lamb Jaflong (seriously hot, with sun dried red chillies).

Fish from Sandy's in Twickenham

We are particularly proud of our range of fish dishes including Salmon Biran Curry (grilled with fennel and crushed mustard seeds), Tilapia Fish Masala (cooked in the tandoor served with a tamarind sauce) and Boal Curry (Asian freshwater fish cooked with a distinctive “bitter and tangy” Bangladeshi vegetable). All our fish is organic and is sourced from local supplier, Sandy’s Fishmongers of Twickenham.

Don’t forget to ask us about the full range of vegetarian dishes we can offer – we can’t fit them all onto the menu!

Ice-cold beer

While for many an ice-cold beer is the only accompaniment for Indian cuisine, we also offer an extensive wine list including a fine selection of Argentinian organic wines. We’ll be happy to offer suggestions for pairing wines with different dishes.
